Death is life's greatest mystery

Death is life's greatest mystery. It is the most important question, because the answer affects how we live our lives. The question is simple; what comes after this? When we are faced with the death of a friend or relative, we are stunned with grief. We don't understand, he was here and now he's not, where did he go? Where does the spirit go. This is the greatest spirituacl quest.

A LONG LONG LIFE

A long, long life We had traveled in our past lives, My woman and I. A road with many turns & twists, But she beside me all the way all the time. Through the joys and the sorrows Through the success and the failures And all the yesterdays, todays & tomorrows. And all the pasts, presents & futures. Then one day She was gone, Her journey ended. And I must travel all alone, Or at least, With her out of sight to the natural eyes. For she is around a corner Where I cannot see,  Yet dwells with me in memories still. And I think ever. What would she do about this? What would she say? And the answer comes As sure as if I heard it. And I go onward To my destination, With hope still in my heart. That one fine day she will join back With me to our long, long life We had traveled in our past lives, My woman and I. -- Jairam P Kshirasagar
