My Inspiration

“My Inspiration”

Each one of us is inspired by someone or something, that something may be a person, a book, a movie, a novel, a story, or maybe an incident. Inspiration is one of the key things in everyone’s life. It is something that boosts our life, encourages us and moreover makes us different from others.  Honestly, there are some movies I’ve watched and books that I’ve read have inspired me. But my real inspiration is none other than, the software giant, the world’s richest man, and now the biggest charitable donor Mr. William (Bill) Henry Gates III. The founder and CEO of the world’s largest software company, Microsoft Corporation.

Since childhood, I always dreamt of becoming the greatest business tycoon in the world of business. This dream or inspiration to dream was because of Mr. Gates. He has been ranked as the richest man in a row for 14 times with a current net worth of approximately $55 billion. He’s one of the best-known entrepreneurs of the personal computer revolution. Although he is widely respected by people who see his wealth as a product of intelligence and foresight, his business tactics have often been criticized as unethical or anti-competitive.

But I feel he has an excellent business mind and immense knowledge. One cannot compare this giant with any other businessman. If he would not have applied these kinds of business theories, he would have stayed just a normal human like us. And the Information industry wouldn’t have grown to this extent. Seeing his great success and his company’s strategy the world’s number One, Personal Computer manufacturing company IBM approached Microsoft and joined hands for business. Now many other big companies are working with Microsoft.

Born in a middle-class family, a college dropout and a “Computer Geek”, rivals have often underestimated his abilities in the world of business. But he proved his abilities and talents and showed the world that big dreams or things are not bound only to the rich people. Anyone can do it if he has a strong will and this is what inspires me. Being so famous and rich, he is very down to earth, very kind, loving and jolly person; and moreover, a man of inspiration for me.

Being a business legend, he is an excellent speaker and a writer too. Whenever I hear his speeches, I’m completely engrossed. It gives me a lot of courage, inspiration and many more things. Unfortunately, I’ve not read all of his books. But a few which I’ve read are awesome. A man who sold his first computer program at the age of 17, at which age boys & girls start knowing what life is, stands to be a guideline for me.

Today his business has spread nooks & corners of our world, providing employment to millions of people and operating billions of computers. God bestows an occasion to meet the man of my dreams and my inspiration & bless to be a business tycoon.

My Moonlit Serenade

My Moonlit Serenade, You gifted pain, a haunting cost, A treasure found, a love embossed.  My heart rejoiced, yet something remained,  An ache untamed, a sorrow unnamed. I lived, though joy felt frail, A lingering lack, a mournful wail. Devotion ran deep like a sacred tide,  In fleeting joy, yet emptiness inside.  Life was lived, but something stayed,  A whisper, a shadow, an unmet gaze. You're veiled, my unseen delight, In empty cups, a starless night. Where moments pause, a dream unspun, Awaiting you, my only one. In longing's core, your essence gleams, In tearful eyes, your presence teems. In hope, in thirst, your breath I crave In all I see, your face appears, Dispelling shadows, calming fears You were the thirst, the silent sigh,  The tear that gleamed in my weary eye.  You danced in laughter, in dreams untamed,  You burned in passion, in love unchained. And where my steps found their last refrain,  The cup stood empty, untouched again....

Dwell within your heart

Let me dwell within your heart so true, Make me yours, let love shine through. Paint my dreams with hues of you, Fill my thoughts with memories new. I adore you, my love untamed, Lost in you, my soul unchained At your feet, the world I lay, Mad for you in love’s embrace. In this Universe  No one loves as deep as me,   You’re my prayer, my destiny.  Speak the words you hide inside,  Let your wishes soar and glide. Drop the veil, oh love divine, Trust my heart, let fate entwine. -Jairam Kshirasagar
